This storage platform uses NVMe-attached drives in the control enclosures to provide significant performance improvements as compared to SAS-attached flash drives. The system also supports two all-Flash SAS-attached expansion enclosure options.
This system consists of the AF8 control enclosure and the SAS extension 9848-AFF. Specific combinations of SAS expansion enclosures are supported based on the capacity of each enclosure
