HPE OfficeConnect 1950 Series switches are HPE's most advanced high performance web managed ''smart'' switches with Gigabit ports and 10 Gigabit uplinks This JG963A has 48 x 10/100/1000 PoE+/PoE enabled ports plus two 10GBASE T copper ports and two SFP+ ports for SFP+/SFP fiber connections. Key features include true stacking, Layer 3 static routing, Access Control Lists and 802.1X network login. Additional features include three levels of Spanning Tree Protocol -- STP, RSTP, MSTP -- IPv4/IPv6 management and routing, STP root guard, and ARP and DOS attack protection. Part of the OfficeConnect portfolio of small business networking products from Hewlett Packard Enterprise. It is a perfect solution for:
- High-Performance Access/Aggregation Layer: With 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 10GbE uplinks, it's perfect for connecting a large number of devices (computers, servers, etc.) at the access layer and aggregating their traffic to a faster core network using the 10G SFP+ or 10GBASE-T ports.
