A key differentiator of the FX2s (compared to the standard FX2) is that it supports up to eight PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, providing greater I/O flexibility for the compute sleds installed within it. It shares resources like power, cooling, and management (via the ChassisManagementController or CMC) across the installed components, making it a highly integrated and compact solution for data centers.
